Mask making step one!

Tonight we completed the first step of the mask making workshop. As always the I love seeing what others created, and what they learned from each of their masks. It's been cold here, and we did our project in a friends garage. While we were warm and comfy thanks to the generous loan of several space heaters. Unfortunately the cooler temperatures slowed the drying of the masks. So we will revisit our masks, and learn more of what they have to tell us after the Holidays! Until then see what magic we all made.

Update: Because of winter time scheduling conflicts I wound up holding three! yes three mask making sessions. I learned the power of making so many masks within such a short time. I feel like with each successive mask I got deeper into my dreams, my fears, the things sitting under the surface that I see but don't want to look at. The time the camaraderie with all three sessions were as always, the best. Take a minute to watch the slides of the raw masks.
