When was the last time you played with rocks?

This weekend my fellow artists and I raised $300 for the Hand to Hand charity in Myanmar. We had a great time writing, and creating art with rocks. As always I am in awe of the wisdom and creativity of every participant.

For this session, I brought three bags full of rocks. Artists could do what ever they wanted. They could paint, make rock sculptures, etc. As with the 2D-3D project, the resulting creations were as widely varied as the participants. I am always suprised to see how different people's creations are. The variability is especially true when people are given the freedom to follow only their own intuition. What fun!
